Monitoring core systems with GUI master

An international company has production facilities in a number of locations across the Czech Republic, but their IT infrastructure is located in Germany. The IT department faced frequent complaints from end users about performance, while the infrastructure denied any issue. In order to provide accurate data, GUI master was installed in each remote location. A set of scripts was designed, which mirrored key end user activity in monitored systems, with a frequency of 10 minutes. The data was submitted to the HQ for near real-time evaluation. As a result, this easy and low-cost solution brought greater awareness of infrastructure incidents.
